I’m pleased to announce that I’m a finalist for The American Prize: celebrating American excellence in the arts – 2025, for my composition “Nevertheless” for piano trio, recorded by Trio Casals (Anna Kislitsnya, piano, Ovidiu Marinescu, cello, and Alexandr Kislitsyn, violin) and premiered at Weill Hall @ Carnegie Hall.
The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts is described as “the nation’s most comprehensive series of online contests in the musical and theater arts. The American Prize is nonprofit, unique in scope and structure, and is designed to evaluate, recognize and reward the best performers, ensembles and composers in the United States based on submitted recordings.”
To listen to Nevertheless . . .
